Important results from the project

a) To identify and discuss with relevant companies, organisations and authorities from Western India to develop innovative cooperation in sustainable environment and urban development; b) and which in the longer term will contribute to a faster development of a more sustainable urban environment and urban development. Achievement: a) Many serious contacts were created, professional discussions, ready for follow-up. b) The work to develop collaboration with Indian partners in innovative sustainability projects in urban development and sustainable environment will start now.

Expected long term effects

Expected results 1) Identify potential partners, relevant stakeholders and potential investors in Western India to develop innovative collaboration. Fulfilled well; many serious contacts were made, professional discussions for follow-up. 2) Develop cooperation with Indian partners in innovative sustainability projects in urban development and sustainable environment which in the longer term will contribute to a faster development of a more sustainable urban environment and urban development. Not the intention to fulfill during this trip, this work starts now.

Approach and implementation

1) Participated in Smart City Roadshow India 2) Held many qualitative dialogues with potential and relevant partners and investors in India, such as authorities, municipal companies, private companies, knowledge clusters, etc. 3) Presented Hifab´s competence areas and experiences for relevant stakeholders and investors and found complementary areas for future collaborations with potential partners (see above) 4) Next step - follow up with partners, identify potential projects 5) Then develop concepts and project proposals together with partners
