Important results from the project
Within the framework of the project, Smart City Business Day (4 November) and the Nordic pavilion at the Smart City World Expo (5-7 November) were planned, organized and carried out in Barcelona.
Just over 100 actors from Sweden participated in the formal Nordic/Baltic delegation of 400 in total. Many more were able to use the pavilion´s stages and meeting facilities.
Business Day, on November 4th, it was also a success with nearly 400 international participants.
Expected long term effects
The long-term effects are expected to be that Swedish actors within sustainable urban development, by expanding their international networks and relationships, can position themselves more actively in international contexts partly to provide an inflow to Sweden but also to export Swedish innovation and know-how.
Approach and implementation
As in previous years, the project was carried out in collaboration with actors from other Nordic and Baltic actors regarding the Nordic/Baltic Pavillion and together with the Dutch the delegation regarding Business Day.
The difference compared to previous years was that Cleantech Scandinavia had a driving and leading role for that Nordic/Baltic Pavillion
