Important results from the project
In co-operation with several industrial partners, the project has implemented and demonstrated possibilities and challenges in an innovative, dynamic, long-term and easily accessible arena for innovation. The arena enables the industry to test ideas and new technologies in a way that was previously unavailable. This allows the industry to reduce the time from idea to implementation. The project has also developed a business model that can be the basis for forming an active organisation.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** SALLPI concretizes how digitization projects can be carried out without the need to build their own platforms for individual tests. The pilots show, e.g., the possibilities with 3D models that integrate information from different data sources, and show how activities performed around new predictive models, simulated systems and operator support can be compared with real-time information from the real plant and visualized in a model of the plant by remote connection and secure transmission of real and simulated process values over the internet.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project was implemented in two stages. During the second stage, the focus has been on the implementation of functions, communication and business model. We have continued to work with six user cases / pilot tests that have generated results and value for the partners involved, but have also helped us to implement parts of the SALLP platform. In the final phase of the project, teams from different user cases have worked together to contribute to the dissemination of results and develop new functions that benefit SALLPI´s common objective.
