Venture Call for proposals to promote participation in Horisont Europa
Call Promote Swedish participation in Horisont Europa: planning projects in Sustainable industry 2021

Important results from the project

The SkillFul project was a successful collaboration between three Swedish partners: RISE, the Industry Commons Foundation, and MTF Labs AB, with a purpose to create a concept, assemble a consortium, design a Swedish pilot and write a successful proposal for call HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-26: Workforce skills for industry 5.0 (RIA).

Expected long term effects

The collaboration proved very productive resulting in an innovative concept, excellent consortium including 16 partners, and three high quality pilots including one in Sweden. The proposal was successfully submitted on the 21st of October 2021. Swedish partners have prominent roles in the proposal especially in the areas of the social sciences and humanities, responsible digitisation, speculative design, ethics and inclusion.

Approach and implementation

Design and implementation benefitted from strong collaboration between the Swedish partners. This has resulted in effective project coordination of the consortium and writing of proposal objectives, concept, impacts, dissemination, communication, exploitation and work plan. The Swedish team focused particularly on innovative methodologies from the social sciences and humanities which would be deployed in a experimental co-creation setting in the Swedish pilot.
