Important results from the project

The project has been carried out according to plan. The purpose of the project was to strengthen aviation-related international cooperation. The project´s aim and objective included the generation of knowledge regarding decision-making for pilots, specifically regarding situational adaptation through pilot monitoring.

Expected long term effects

Expected effects and results have generated support for future design of interaction and decision support for fighter pilots. For the project there were hopes that results from the project can demonstrate benefits of such future applications, which has been strengthened.

Approach and implementation

Planned setup and execution for the project included collaboration between the project´s parties in four work packages, which turned out well, with a distribution of work between industrial and academic parties based on in-depth expertise in the area, previous work and application. The project was also laid out for the possibility of collaboration with other actors, nationally and internationally, which has led to in-depth collaboration/follow-up projects.
