SISPs national consortia for startups and scaleups

Purpose and goal

SISP, together with 37 members, has formed a consortium of incubators and science parks to mediate innovation checks to small and medium-sized companies. The companies apply for innovation checks in business development, infrastructure and IP-services with the consortium members. The checks give small and medium-sized companies the opportunity to strengthen their business and gain access to qualified services procured by the consortium. The purpose of the investment is to provide conditions for increased growth in the companies, shorten their path to market and profitability

Expected effects and result

That the consortium has mediated at least 390 innovation checks in business development, infrastructure and IP-services. These funds have strengthened the companies´ conditions for increased growth in the companies and shortened their path to market and profitability. That the investment strengthens the regional innovation support system To develop competences among the business developers within the consortium members

Planned approach and implementation

SISP provides project resources that hold the consortium together, report and provide dialogue with Vinnova and other external stakeholders. SISP provide a common digital work tool (Ignite Magic) that automates parts of the administration of the checks. SISP organizes trainings, seminars and experience exchange to develop the members´ methods and tools. Consortium members provide regional coordination with other actors Communication is provided via SISP website, social media and via SISP members´ websites and social media channels.
