Purpose and goal
Projektet SIMPLE wants to unite various actors in energy supply by using a digital technology inspired by the telecom industry. This makes it easier to manage and protects against cyber threats. By using this technology in our pilot projects, we can optimize how we use, produce and store electricity from solar cells and wind power. The goal is to create a safer, more flexible and cost-effective energy supply for smaller industries.
Expected effects and result
We expect the project to lead to a safer and more flexible energy supply and lower costs. Smaller industries and energy communities will be able to manage their energy needs more efficiently, contributing to increased sustainability and resilience. In addition, the project will reduce dependence on fossil fuels and promote the use of renewable energy, which is important for reaching our climate goals.
Planned approach and implementation
We will test our service in real-world environments to ensure it works as intended. The pilot projects include Tjaul´s farm on Gotland and Sitemax mobile sites in northern Sweden. These sites will serve as references and sources of inspiration for others.
