Important results from the project

For sustainable urban development we need to think symbiotically. It is about building smart partnerships and relationships where businesses and other actors can, in new ways, transform resources into resources. Shared Energy Doubles the Force has taken on the challenge of seeing the city´s system as a whole and has explored the possibilities of connecting them both strategically and in reality. Concepts, models, tools, working methods and consumer involvement in circular innovations have been the aim. Shared is double!

Expected long term effects

Together we are stronger and it has resulted in a common innovative capacity to see the opportunities in each other´s activities and how they symbiotically strengthen the development towards a sustainable and circular city. Recycling concepts, business models for energy sharing, resource declaration and interactive map are some innovations. The symbiosis function generates conditions for companies and businesses to become an active party in a symbiosis, interest have increased. The conditions for circular transformation have improved.

Approach and implementation

The project group has collaborated as a whole group and divided on activity level, and has continued to share and test ideas and concepts with the group. In step 3, this sharing and testing has also extended beyond the project team, and potential users and consumers of the innovations have been invited to contribute to the development. Pilot tests, seminars, workshops and bilateral meetings have been conducted throughout the project period, both nationally and internationally.
