Important results from the project

The first year of the project mainly focused on basic steps such as building a network and involving more people. Although the direct results were small, it succeeded in establishing important relationships and gaining a good understanding of the market´s needs. Therefore, the project achieved its initial objective and prepared the basis for more significant results in future phases.

Expected long term effects

The extensive database and initial networking will facilitate interaction and collaboration. We believe that if we continue to engage with the contacts in the database, these relationships will be strengthened. This will lead to better collaboration in future project and greater integration with the wider European electronics community.

Approach and implementation

The project aimed to integrate Swedish SMEs in global networks, with a focus on basic activities (1 year) such as network building and stakeholder engagement. Even if the right activities were chosen and the plan was followed, corporate hesitancy and concerns over intellectual property rights slowed down commitment. The collaboration was effective but did not reach its full potential in the first year, requiring ongoing adjustments and more strategic efforts to improve participation.
