Purpose and goal
In this project we have developed a project plan for establishing the ´Forum for Service Innovation´. The aim was to establishing a forum for collaboration with exchange of knowledge and methods and interdisciplinary FOI project, between academia and industry, in the field of service innovation. The goal is also to increase the international competitiveness of Swedish companies operating in this field.
Results and expected effects
By developing the projectplan we have a plan for meeting the needs of increased knowledge and advanced forms of collaboration in the area of service innovation, requested and expressed by representatives in both academia and industry in the development of ´Strategic Agenda for Service Innovation in Sweden. This will be done 2014-15 in the next step in the process of forming ´Forum for Service Innovation´.
Approach and implementation
Representatives from both academia and industry have collaborated to develop a physical meeting place, including regular network meetings and events focused on knowledge-sharing and method development as well as the planning and dissemination of knowledge from joint FOI-projects. A project coordinator has coordinated events and network activities together with representatives from Almega and Teknikföretagen and the koordinator for internationational outlook.
