Purpose and goal
The project aims to strengthen Swedish industry´s capacity for Semantic Data Readiness – data that is structured, contextualised and machine-interpretable. The goal is to develop and validate shared methodologies, maturity model and reference architectures that enable interoperability, scalable AI and standards-based data exchange across system, organisational and value chain boundaries, and that can be adopted in industrial practice.
Expected effects and result
The project will deliver an industry-anchored framework, validated working methods and demonstrators showing measurable benefits at a minimum of three participating organisations. Long-term effects include accelerated digital transformation, higher data quality, better use of AI and stronger competitiveness in Swedish industry. The results also support the climate transition through more traceable and efficient data flows, and help close competence gaps in advanced digitalisation.
Planned approach and implementation
Industrial partners collaborate with research and consultancy actors under the lead of CAG Syntell. The work is organised in six work packages and twelve three-month sprints, combining an open testbed at RISE with hands-on application in participants´ own environments. Collective learning, external analysis and alignment with standardisation run across the project. An open Semantic Data Readiness Forum engages 30–50 external organisations for dialogue and broad dissemination of results.
