Venture Cluster of Excellence for Cutting-Edge Technologies - calls for proposals
Call Visions for world-leading research and innovation in strategic technology areas

Important results from the project

The objectives of the feasibility study have been achieved and a concept for a national cluster for AI Security - STRAIC has been defined. Incoming partners have shown great commitment and interest in the area. In addition to the original objectives, several new collaborations outside the project have been started. A proposal to the Swedish Institute on establishing collaboration with Ukraine has been submitted.

Expected long term effects

The project has increased awareness of AI Security. This has directly affected the planning and work of several participating partners. This reduces the risks of developing and implementing AI in these organizations from now on. In addition, the insights will reach other organizations much faster than if this project had not been implemented - which reduces the risks for them as well.

Approach and implementation

The work has been carried out by a working group that continuously analyzed needs, developed concepts, and iterated on these with all partners involved in the project. These iterations have been done in a series of workshops that have been held alternately in Stockholm and Gothenburg. All partners have actively and with great commitment participated in all project activities, and during the time between project activities, worked to develop data for future project activities.
