Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to compose an application for a EUREKA grant to design and build a control rod prototype for SEALER. This goal has not been met.
Expected long term effects
An MoU with Promation has been signed, where Blykalla and Promation commit to work together to develop SEALER. Within the frame of this MoU, Promation and Blykalla will form a partnership to design, construct and sell SEALER reactors in Canada. Even if not an explicit goal for the VINNOVA-project, this outcome is of major value for Blykalla. The joint venture is expected to start operating before end of 2015.
Approach and implementation
Several trips to Ontario in Canada were made, and discussions with Promation in Oakville were conducted.
