Important results from the project

The project´s goal was to industrialize our production and distribute 8333 bags of our climate-friendly dog treats, based on byproducts from Swedish blue mussel production, within a 6-month timeframe. With the assistance of an external producer and a logistics partner, the project has successfully achieved the goal of industrializing our production and expanding our capacity. We have successfully sold 6491 bags after the project was extended from 6 to 9 months.

Expected long term effects

During the project, we successfully scaled our business by industrializing our production with the help of external partners in manufacturing and third-party logistics. We have strengthened our brand awareness in Sweden and, over the course of 9 months, acquired over 1800 new customers while expanding our social media following by over 300%. Following our success in Sweden, we are now focusing on broadening our exposure to additional European markets.

Approach and implementation

The implementation of the project involved several important actions, including the establishment of processes for raw material procurement and external production. We also developed new, more resource-efficient packaging and set up third-party logistics. We created and refined processes for the production of advertising materials, content creation, and the scaling of advertising. Our combined experiences and improved cost control now provide us with a solid foundation for planning our ongoing expansion.
