Important results from the project
Savaq an new sub irrigation system to be verified in field conditions. The tests will focus on the difference between Savaq technique and drip irrigation on water consume, moisture spread, stem water potential, content of fertilizer, harvest, growth and temperature in soil. The goal is to verify the savings of recourses. The project is pursued through the Swedish University of Agriculture, inst. of land and environments, and The University of Cartagena Spain, institute for farming and technique.
