Important results from the project
The project has been performed with a focus on efficient drying, handling and storage of food grains and oilseeds. The project contributes to strengthening sustainability and competitiveness of Swedish grain suppliers and associated industries through new forms of collaboration, further development of the project´s innovation and increased reliability in delivery of the staple food grains and oilseeds. The collaboration form includes project partners as well as actors in adjacent areas.
Expected long term effects
In the long term, the project´s results and further developed innovation will increase the security of supply of the staple food grains, in line with Agenda 2030, especially goals 12.3 and 2.4. All project partners are active and have contributed towards common goals according to the updated project plan. The parties have also confirmed their interest in continuation projects within UDI stage 3, together with partners that would like to join a suggested project UDI-step 3.
Approach and implementation
The project is led by RISE. The work is organized and performed in work packages (WP), where sub-goals for each WP are broken down in goal-oriented activities. To streamline the coordination and implementation of the project activities in each WP (WP 1-10), a Gantt chart has been developed that provides an overview and becomes a valuable tool in the project´s organization, management and governance. To streamline the work, each party in the project focuses on work within some or all work packages, based on their respective roles.
