Important results from the project
The project´s purpose was to investigate the conditions for developing a concept for industrial electronics assembly on flexible substrates in a roll-to-roll process. Objective: Identify technology challenges and eligibility requirements and carry out basic tests and technology evaluations. Furthermore, laying the foundation for an implementation project through consortium building and planning.
Expected long term effects
The project succeeded with all objective according to the time and budget plan and a fine consortium and fine project plan have been established for an implementation project. A proposal based on the results of the feasibility study was submitted to VINNOVA and Smartare Elektroniksystem before the submission deadline of March 12, 2024. The foundation is laid for an implementation project that aims to fully develop a concept for an industrial electronics assembly in a roll-to-roll process.
