Purpose and goal

The aim of the project "Roadmap: New enabling technologies for Swedish industry" was to develop a roadmap for Swedish industry. A report and brochure describing this roadmap have been prepared and launched. The project has also produced a proposal on how a model for how the industry can work together on continued roadmap work for increased collaboration, consensus and dialogue.

Expected results and effects

The project has compiled a report that describes the needs of the industry and recommends measures aimed at providing long-term effects: - Investments in research and innovation that are even better adapted to the future needs of the industry. - Common investments inrelevant Test and Demonstration environments for the production and process industries - Training that meets the industry´s competence needs - Increased collaboration with Swedish companies on common initiatives and strategic planning - Skills development and priority in areas based on industrial needs within RISE

Planned approach and implementation

In order to ensure a broad foundation and at the same time high quality, the project has carried out a number of broader meetings and in addition to these performed interviews and smaller workshops. In addition, a large number of external reports have been collected and included as a basis for the report writing.
