Important results from the project

RE:Source´s vision is Sweden being a world leader in minimising and valorising waste. Start-up phase of RE:Source was intended to enable a successful program. The following has been accomplished: - An effective collaboration between RE:Source and funding agencies is established and the respective roles are defined - Organisation and a creative meeting arena are initiated, with all governing documents developed - A programme plan for the programme´s first phase is developed, as well as the effect logic and project descriptions for the initial activities.

Expected long term effects

All the programme´s governing documents and effect logic approved. New, attractive and updated website. All the important roles in programme office and management are well-defined and established. Three large meetings with stakeholders. All these accomplished results are expected to give an effect in RE:Source being a successful strategic innovation programme and an apparent innovation partner in the development of a resource efficient society.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented by a large number of meetings at different levels (e.g. interim board, between program management and the authorities, with actors), dialogue with many relevant actors, a few workshops for the development of the effect logic, the development of the website as well as the production of documents and templates. Selected methods are considered to have been successful and resulted in a successful start-up phase of RE:Source.
