Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to visit Ipsen Inc. (Rockford, U.S.), Ipsen GmbH (Kleve, G) and take part in the ´ASM 5th International Conference on Thermal Process Modeling and Computer Simulation´ (Orlando, U.S.). The goal was to plan for a research project within the VINNMER Industry Outgoing programme on resource and energy efficient heat treatment of steel with Ipsen. A project application has now been submitted to Vinnova on this topic.

The planning project has resulted in a project application to the VINNMER Industry Outgoing programme.
Approach and implementation
The planning project was carried out in accordance with the project application. That was; visiting Ipsen´s production facilities and attend a conference on the heat treatment.
