Important results from the project

Within this proof-of-concept project, neutron and synchrotron X-ray data analysis software company Scatterin AB developed novel analysis algorithms to enhance performance and ease of use in Big Science data analysis.

Expected long term effects

The project enabled Scatterin to develop and test data analysis algorithms to achieve online analysis in proof-of-concept synchrotron X-ray measurements with minimum user input. The further development of technology will contribute to efficient industrial utilization of Big Science for addressing sustainability challenges.

Approach and implementation

The developed data analysis algorithms have been tested in proof-of-concept experiments with big data originating from synchrotron X-ray experiments performed at different beamlines.
