Important results from the project
In a resilient and sustainable future production system, business development, production strategy, human factors, infrastructure/technology and innovation are important areas. The RaSP project has developed a guiding analysis model for managing the complexity in production development for reaching resilience and sustainability. Integration of societal and tech trends has contributed to innovation work at the companies related to business development, innovation and technology.
Expected long term effects
The RaSP project has contributed to that participating organizations have integrated the experiences into future strategic projects and initiatives. External organizations have shown interest in collaboration and further development of ideas related to RaSP content. The participating companies, especially SMEs, have developed a deeper understanding of collaboration with academia and institutes in research and educational activities and how it can contribute to their long term competitiveness.
Approach and implementation
The work was divided into work packages. WP1: Competitive manufacturing for the future WP2: Content of resilient and sustainable production systems WP3: Production innovation capability for resilient and sustainable production WP4: Framework for development of resilient and sustainable production systems WP5: Dissemination of project results We combined the activities interactively between the WP1-4 in different types of regular meetings with the companies, with successful information sharing.
