Important results from the project
The project has been implemented according to plan and has resulted in significant progress both technically and organizationally. Requirements specifications, performance and safety requirements and an overall CONOPS have been developed, which has created a clear system definition and a solid foundation for the next development phase.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to contribute in the long term to increased energy efficiency, strengthened security of supply and improved sustainability in the energy sector. The developed technology lays the foundation for a new way to exploit the potential of hydropower with lower environmental impact and greater flexibility. The long-term effects also include increased technical competence and innovative capacity in the field of hydropower technology, which strengthens Swedish industry.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented according to plan with well-functioning cooperation between the parties. The activities were relevant and contributed to achieving the project´s objective. Some elements were adjusted during the work to optimize technology and resources, but the schedule was largely followed. The cooperation was characterized by good communication and commitment, which enabled efficient implementation.
