Important results from the project
Expected long term effects
An increased interest in self-monitoring of RA, and increased abilitey to implement this is a clear long-term effect. Furthermore, the management of health data in the area can contribute to simplified processes for care and patients. Regional capacity for innovation and collaboration lives on in new projects, both operationally close to the development of EHRs and more exploratory eg in test beds. Co-creation in quadruple helix with efficient methodology will be used in the future.
Approach and implementation
The project was conducted in participation of all project parties and patient representation in all packages. A success factor was the co-creation of the proposal and the work packages. Challanges where met; legal handeling of cloud services, a pandemic, changes in the management structure in healthcare and finally Elsa science bankruptcy, but with the help of good project methodology and dedicated participants, we were able to deliver meaningful results despite a major impact on the schedule.
