Purpose and goal
This pilot project aimed to create at least one industrial development project to secure recycling, and thus the weight reduction potential of combinations of lightweight materials and bonding methods relevant for the automotive sector. Together with project partners as well as some project external companies, two development projects have been formulated: One is about the Disassembly of adhesive bonds and the other on the Use of recycled carbon fiber. Expected results and effects
The development projects aim to facilitate the introduction of lightweight solutions in the automotive industry in particular. Lightweight solutions for vehicles are needed to meet emission standards (competitiveness) and decreased environmental impact (sustainability).
Planned approach and implementation
This pilot project was carried out through a series of workshops (three) and intermediate telephone meetings (eight) and knowledge acquisition.
