Important results from the project
The project objective is to open Trafikverket´s core business in railway for development and demonstration of digital information solutions that are tested by performers and end users. The results can be summarized in regulations, organization, roles and technology that contribute to Trafikverket´s capability. Examples are a more dynamic regulation to show the need for innovation and application of digital technology. Also physical and digital assets and IT-solutions for industry collaboration, and proposals for information management agreements with external parties.

Approach and implementation
The implementation takes place within the framework of Trafikverket´s main process "Research and develop innovation" and in accordance withTrafikverket´s project model. The project is carried out in close collaboration with the project ePilot at Luleå Railway Technology Center (JVTC). A key project strategy is to address priority stakeholder needs through various initiatives to increase Trafikverket´s capability to contribute to the project goal. The initiatives have mainly been demonstrators to develop results that continuously have been transferred to operations.
