Venture Impact Innovation Net Zero industry - Program-specific efforts

Purpose and goal

Aim: Sustainable, robust and resource-efficient wood industry throughout value chain with human-centered dynamic maintenance. Objectives: Method for human-centered systems perspective on maintenance in wood industry. Collaboration in the value network for robust and efficient maintenance. Data-driven visual method for identification of deviation and employee collaboration. Validated models for maintenance planning/prediction. Real-time analysis for predictive and resource-efficient maintenance.

Expected effects and result

Dissemination for radical innovation leaps with human-centered perspectives. Resilient and resource-efficient maintenance inspires and makes a difference beyond the value network. Increased use of resources in the wood industry through the introduction of dynamic maintenance work. Increased global export capacity and reduced import needs for Swedish forest industry through competitive manufacturing with reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Resilient and competitive Swedish wood processing industry.

Planned approach and implementation

READY2 contains 5 work packages. Work package 1 is the core where the methodology with a holistic perspective for resource-efficient, human-centered and dynamic maintenance in the wood processing industry is developed. While work packages 2, 3, and 4 focus on technologies for resource-efficient maintenance and operational reliability, work package 1 ties the together the socio-technical systems perspective. Work package 5 focus on project implementation, management, dissemination and networking.
