Important results from the project

The participation of Rebelbirdz in the REACH program was aimed at challenging the scalability of the concept in the Silicon Valley mindset. The purpose was to evaluate and form the company strategy at an early stage to enable a roadmap and strategic vision for the concept, with a focus on the US market. Successful completion of the REACH program enabled a pivotal outcome and de-risking the investments required for a next MVP launch based on the expertise and senior competence of the REACH coaches. This has been an invaluable stepping stone in shaping the future of Rebelbirdz.

Expected long term effects

The results of the REACH programme culminated in a business model pivot and clearer market focus on the potential in the US. The timing of the REACH program with the challenges of the Corona pandemic opened up for a pivot in the original B2C2B business model towards a B2B model with a core focus on the technological software and solution that it provides. This allowed the founder to de-risk further MVP milestones and challenge the optimal investor and ownership structure to ensure next level of strategic roadmapping and strategy towards launching the concept on the US market.

Approach and implementation

The REACH programme was divided into 2 parts, falling almost one year apart. The second part was supposed to take place in April 2020, but was postponed until October 2020 and took the form of 2 weeks digital workshops and coaching sessions. The first part taking place in November 2019 physically in Palo Alto enabled the Silicon Valley mindset and unique energy to be implemented at the on-set of the program and further made it ´relatable and present´ via the digital second part. Being one year apart enabled progress to be done, maximising the outcome from the senior coaching given at REACH.
