Important results from the project
Yes. The project has developed a new methodology for field investigations for new railways. All steps in the process have been carried out and the results can be used as a basis for decision-making under real-world conditions.

Approach and implementation
The project was implemented through the following work packages (AP):
AP1. Integration of data in geodatabases with visualization tools;
AP2. Engineering geological and geotechnical analysis and forecast;
AP3. Archaeological terrain analysis;
AP4. Drone-borne surveys;
AP5. Ground-based surveys;
AP6. Analysis, evaluation and reporting.
Project coordination has taken place via monthly project meetings, partly held on site and partly via video. Reference group meetings 1-2 times/year.
