Purpose and goal

The goals of the project are as follows: - Prototype a 2 qubit processor (QiB2) - Design 5 qubit processor (QiB5) - Design 7 qubit processor (QiB7) The end goal is to have a prototype of the 7 Qubit processor (QiB7) deployed by the end of stage 3.

Expected effects and result

Our QPUs present avenues for disruptive restructuring of the quantum landscape, accelerating both software and hardware lead times. We envision a future where our QPUs, with their state-of-the-art performance and affordability, become the industry standard for qubit logic and formulating quantum state machines. In QuEST, our goal by the end of Stage 3 is to develop a packaged QiB7 capable of performing complex quantum logic operations, deployment of quantum analog of FPGA.

Planned approach and implementation

The project structure will consist of developing designs for deployment of QiB2 early in the project. Lessons learned will fuel designs of QiB5 and QiB7. We have hired an additional person who will take a leading role in this project. In order to ensure milestones and deliverables are met, a detailed project plan and long term roadmap have been established. A risk assessment has been performed and we additionally intend to perform market analysis activities.
