Important results from the project
The goal was to develop and test our next QUP: QiB2. It is now launched on the market and we have sold our first devices. During the development phase, we have listened to feedback from our customers and improved the user-friendliness. We have expanded our product portfolio with a junction box, Box20, for QiB2. This simplifies usage for our customers and provides added value. During the course of the project, we have expanded our collaboration with Chalmers Next Labs (CNL).
Expected long term effects
The launch of QiB2 strengthens our product portfolio and will hopefully open up to new customers and markets internationally. We will continue to develop our product portfolio, for example we now also have the junction box, Box20, and we will continue to develop support products around our QiB-series. We see great opportunities to further consolidate our place in the quantum ecosystem, especially on the European market.
Approach and implementation
We have followed the overall plan of the project. The QiB2 device was fabricated and later validated to finally be launched to the market. We needed to make one new recruitment to increase our people resources and competence for quantum product validation. This has strengthened our team. With the successful outcome of the first stage of the project, we are now through with yet another new recruitment to further strengthen the team to take on the next stage of developing our quantum devices.
