Purpose and goal
QSIP Stage 2B aims to further develop a national innovation platform for quantum technology in Sweden. The project will strengthen the quantum innovation ecosystem through support for commercialization, proof-of-concept, market validation and international collaborations, especially with the Nordic countries. The platform will be coordinated with other national initiatives, and will contribute to the implementation of a future Swedish quantum strategy.
Expected effects and result
During stage 2B, QSIP will become a long-term and powerful platform to ensure continuity and strength in Swedish quantum innovation by, among other things, creating the conditions for a strong ecosystem, supporting the process from research results to concept validation, and having international relations and collaborations with selected countries, especially the Nordic countries.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be conducted within 6 work packages, with the emphasis on innovation-supporting activities, creating conditions for developing use cases in quantum technology in Sweden, and generally promoting activities to increase collaboration and build a national ecosystem in an international context. The project partners consist of organizations that are close to quantum technology research in Sweden.
