Important results from the project
We have so far received the most positive response in the industry and among artists. Although many say they are tired of the live concert streaming event, my firm belief is that this is just the beginning of a new era. Some new conditions will be created which means that the industry, artists, etc. will need this type of solution to be able to sell and make money in the digital live music experience. What is crucial for the development is that we can tailor flexible solutions that suit each unique occasion, each artist and target group.
Expected long term effects
Once the technology is in place, the challenge will be funding to create really good content, then packaging, adaptation and distribution in a tailored way that everyone is comfortable with is absolutely necessary. We are gradually building in close contact with the industry. We move forward, are adaptable to the structure that prevails in the now very changing music industry and constantly listen in and agree with the ear and eye to the ground where the needs are first seen and heard, then we will succeed with our service. I see several indications that we are on the right track.
Approach and implementation
30% has been spent on design, graphics and text, what we call Front-End. 10% has been spent on making content, creating films, talking to artists, industry, UI / UX learn a new way of working understand what do people want to see how do they want to watch and to pay? 50% has been spent building Back - End customizing and finding payment solution as well as administrative tools. There is still a lot to do with Qesc, we have only taken a few first steps and started with MVP1. Above all, we could do a lot to facilitate the administration, copyright compensation is important as the next step forward.
