Important results from the project

The project provided us with very valuable opportunities to better achieve the goal of submitting a high-quality EU MSCA Doctoral Network (DN) proposal with Högskolan Kristianstad (HKR) as coordinator in November 2024. The project contributed to the opportunity to receive evaluation by consultants, to meet potential partners in the project, and to conduct experimental proof-of-concept studies. The possibility to physically meet and discuss project ideas provided us with novel ideas for funding.

Expected long term effects

To achieve the goal of obtaining funding for an EU MSCA DN-project, a proposal is planned to be submitted in one of the coming years, with HKR as coordinator. We have gained more knowledge about the process, the EU-regulations, which consultants are available in the area, and shared our experiences at the university. We have the opportunity to continue collaborating with new partners. The proof-of-concept studies that were initiated will soon provide results and will be communicated further.

Approach and implementation

The project set-up consisted of: 1) traveling to potential partners in an EU MSCA DN project 2) experimental proof-of-concept studies 3) hiring consultants for feedback on the writing of the proposal. Feasibility was high with a good distribution of the parts of the project. The original schedule of 7 months was tight, but was made possible with an extension. Only one participant (HKR) took part in the budget, but the project planning made it possible to meet a total of 10 partners physically.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
