Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project was to conduct a feasibility study for the IoT product Purplepoint and document it in a business plan. This has now been done and will be executed starting in the fall of 2018.
Expected results and effects
The result of the project is a business plan describing a growth plan for the Purplepoint product. We will use it to seek funding from external investors and public support programs. If it can be executed, the plan is to market a product that can strengthen Swedish and European competitiveness in industry.
Planned approach and implementation
Business modeling has been made for the primary customer segments. Customer interviews and overall market research and competitor analysis have been conducted primarily on the European market. A thorough development plan for completing the technology has been designed, and revenue model and pricing have been analyzed. A patent analysis has been made in the form of a "freedom-to-operate" documentation. The overall plan has been described in a business plan using Jönköping Science Park.
