Important results from the project

Yes, the project met all objectives. ProTrack developed and verified an AI-based solution for digital product passports. The project demonstrated the importance of alignment between technology and business processes and how GS1 standards enable interoperable and secure data sharing in value chains.

Expected long term effects

ProTrack strengthens sustainability and circularity through traceability throughout the product lifecycle. The project enables new business models, increased transparency and Swedish competitiveness in the EU´s upcoming DPP regulations.

Approach and implementation

The project had a clear division between the technology party, the brand and the standards organization. The technology party has also acted as project manager. The standards organization has acted as support around how the technology party should act to use and benefit from standards. The brand has provided product information as well as customer and user information and provided the conditions for the project to start with the right stakeholders involved.
