Important results from the project
With the help of your contribution from the program´Forska & Väx´ we have been able to do a part in our planned pilot study. We have created a plan where the team went out to interview students of different ages and visited organisations for unemployed young people around Sweden. The first stage was to immerse ourselves in the market survey. We have been focusing on - if the product value offerings match customer needs - if they would use another platform on the web - how much the customer is willing to pay
Expected long term effects
The response has been positive. They find the product visually appealing and functionally fulfills a need in comparison with competitors. Using an additional platform would not be a problem considering that the Way of Life platform can be co-used with other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more. The information has given us clearer guidelines on how we can improve the product and also provide opportunities on how we can include more branches.
Approach and implementation
Those we interviewed are already established or are on track to become professional. They work for example with various organizations, are athletes, entrepreneurs, musicians or work in research. A portion of the interview material will be an inspiration movie. We have a plan to attract public viewers through the movie and gives us an opportunity to create our own financial position for the development of the platform. We have also created a design of the prototype (reference: our document reference number 2014-04975).
