Purpose and goal

The aim of the project is to prepare a competitive proposal to HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2025-04 by establishing a strong international consortium, developing a detailed project plan with a clear budget and work packages, and ensuring that the proposal meets Horisont Europas eligibility requirements on scientific quality, innovative potential, feasibility, resource use, and expected societal impact. The goal is to increase the chances of being granted funding.

Expected effects and result

The planning project is expected to lead to a competitive full proposal to the EU-call for proposals HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2025-04. The project strengthens Scandinavian Biopharmas´s role as coordinator and enables the establishment of an international consortium focused on combating diarrheal disease caused by ETEC. The result will be an efficient project structure and quality-assured proposal with an increased chance of funding and thus an opportunity for a global impact on public health.

Planned approach and implementation

The work includes the development of a detailed project plan with defined work packages, timelines and budget. The work to develop the proposal will be led by Scandinavian Biopharma, in close collaboration with other consortium members and will be carefully aligned with Horisont Europas guidelines and eligibility requirements to maximize the chances of being granted funding. To ensure high quality, external writing assistance will be engaged.
