Important results from the project
The project´s goal was to organize a Swedish stand in BES2016´s exhibition conveying a positive and attractive picture of Sweden as a strong life science nation. The ultimate aim is to increase the number of investments and funded partnerships between Swedish and international companies and organisations.
Expected long term effects
Sweden was well represented at BES2016 and the Swedish stand was placed centrally in the exhibition. It was well manned and many international visitors were given the opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of the Swedish life science sector. The project was part of the long-term work undertaken for the international promotion of life science in Sweden with the aim of increasing the number of investments and qualified collaborations between Swedish and international actors.
Approach and implementation
The project coordinated a number of Swedish actors representing the Swedish life science sector. It was considered important that Sweden, as the host nation, was able to convey a solid picture of Sweden as a strong life science nation.
