Important results from the project

IoT Sweden had five goals during Phase 3 and has managed to achieve good results within all goals. The programme has worked broadly and thematically with a systems perspective on the development and implementation of IoT solutions. Focus on spreading communication about our projects and important IoT topics through the IoT Forum. Extra focus has also been placed on internationalisation and the scaling up and implementation of IoT solutions.

Expected long term effects

IoT Sweden as a strategic innovation programme aims to create societal benefit through increased use of IoT in the public sector. There is still much to be done when it comes to the usefulness of IoT solutions in the public sector. In order to create socially useful IoT solutions, a holistic perspective on the entire IoT system is needed which IoT Sweden has been able to contribute with. Sharing knowledge and learning from each other is particularly important.

Approach and implementation

IoT Sweden has leveled up the work on several fronts. In terms of staffing, the programme office has been strengthened with the aim of reaching further and having greater effect from its work, as well as increasing the synergy effects between the projects in the programme´s innovation portfolio. Reinforcements have been made especially in terms of communication and internationalisation. Focus on implementation and scaling up as well as reaching out to new important stakeholders.
