Important results from the project
The PInnoE project evaluated production innovation effects within the strategic innovation program Produktion2030 using an enhanced assessment tool. The objectives were met, and 29 R&I projects were analyzed. Results show both technical and organizational innovations, with strong links to sustainable transition. The project contributed to better understanding of innovation leadership and informed future program design.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to contribute to making production innovation a strategic and measurable dimension in future research and innovation programs. The tool and insights support systematic evaluation, knowledge dissemination, and program development. The results may also influence how project leadership and collaboration are understood and supported in future initiatives.
Approach and implementation
The project followed its planned structure with five main activities: tool development, data collection, analysis, reporting, and communication. It was carried out according to schedule. Collaboration worked very well. No major external factors affected implementation. A positive surprise was the high response rate and the depth of insights from project leaders, which greatly enhanced the quality of the analysis.
