Purpose and goal
Knowledge of upcoming EU directives is generally low within Swedish industry. Several players have started to take an interest in how their products should be handled, but very few have realized what a major impact Digital Product Passports - DPP will have on the daily operation of managing production facilities. Maintenance, purchasing and design process will need to be modified when DPP becomes mandatory. The aim is to actively participate in EU-standardization and educate through workshops.
Expected effects and result
Planned approach and implementation
The project´s project group, which consists of project partners (all three) is included in SIS / TK639 and involved in working groups at EU level. CEN JTC24 - WG2 and WG4. Through the project´s involvement, the expertise in the project group will be up-to-date and able to share current information to the industry during planned Workshops. Workshops and webinars will be the link to reach out with information about how the design and upcoming requirements and opportunities look for the industry.
