Important results from the project
The results are clear, we are launching a new product after year-end. Regarding revenues, the results are also clear - sales have risen significantly and now we have a very good profitability. The company increased the workforce, where we enhanced with several product developers. Long-term effects we see in broader offerings, both trough in-house offering as well by partnering with third party vendors. Furhter positive effect is that we will be able to scale better. We will be able to line up several partners and resellers.
Expected long term effects
The project was split into working groups, tasks and deliverables, with continuous monitoring of results. Thanks to the previous project with Vinnova, we had even this time defined risk management plan. This was useful to ensure that the targets are achieved. One area we note where there is room for improvement is to improve estimations of the personal effort needed - in retrospect we see that we had to put more own resources than originally thought. The management did not reduce the extent of the project´s goals, these efforts were considered an investment for the future.
