Important results from the project
The project has achieved its objective and produced an action plan for a national prevention infrastructure based on outcome contracts. In addition, the project has highlighted the need for coordinated support and joint data management for prevention work. The results create the conditions for future initiatives that promote equal access to health and social innovation.
Expected long term effects
In the long term, the infrastructure enables broader and more equitable efforts in prevention, regardless of geographical or economic background. It creates new ways of working where efforts are compensated based on actual results, promotes innovation and strengthens collaboration between actors to effectively address complex societal challenges.
Approach and implementation
The work has been carried out by mapping relevant actors, monitoring the external environment of previous experiences, cost and financing analyses and identifying obstacles and solutions. Prediabetes was used as a case. Insights have been collected through interviews and conversations, and the work has been anchored through an advisory board.
