Important results from the project
Project partners Swedish Standards Institute (SIS), Swedish Elstandard (SEK), Swedish Information and telecommunications standardization (ITS), Patent and Registration Office (PRV), and Swedac during the period 2018.04-2018-08 has carried out a joint work aimed at raising Swedish stakeholders´ knowledge of, and commitment to, standardization, accreditation and intellectual property.
Expected long term effects
The effect of improved knowledge and engagement in standardization, accreditation and IPR will strengthened the innovation system where Standardization, accreditation and intellectual property rights serve as tools for technology transfer of innovations into the market and thereby improving the results. The pre-study has shown a clear interest in implementing educational efforts, and a plan for implementation has been developed.
Approach and implementation
The project has developed a draft content for the education initiatives, and found common grounds for the joint initiative. A large portion of the work has focused on defining target groups and then finding suitable regional arenas to reach these target groups.
