Purpose and goal
The project aim of prepare and plan for the full-scale verification through testing of Minesto´s power plant, DEEP GREEN, in the offshore environment has been fully fulfilled. The project has delivered a thorough, clear and evaluated project plan comprising conceptual design, requirements specifications, project schedule, project budget, and project risk assessment, identification of critical project areas and feasibility assessment of the DEEP GREEN full-scale verification.
Results and expected effects
Expected result of the project was a feasibility assessment of the DEEP GREEN full-scale verification with an evaluated project plan clearly identifying project risks and critical project areas. The result of the project fulfils these expectations. The project has provided clear and structured information enabling Minesto to successfully proceed with the next step in the development of the DEEP GREEN, to produce and verify a full scale DEEP GREEN in offshore environment. The schedule for this work is estimated to 2.5-3 years having a budget of approximately 200MSEK.
Approach and implementation
The structure and implementation of the project has proceeded according to plan. Project specific goals have continuously been completed according to the work package plan. The well planned work package plan with clearly defined content and goals has greatly facilitated the timely implementation of the project. The project has fulfilled its purpose.
