Important results from the project
The project aims to contribute to the strategic research and innovation agenda entitled ´Smarter electronics for Sweden´ which will be the basis for a Strategic Innovation Program. The scope is very broad and includes hardware and hardware-related software in the electronics, power electronics, photonics, and MEMS antenna. The work was completed in September 2013.
Expected long term effects
The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda ´Smarter electronics for Sweden´ was completed in September 2013. This will be the basis for a strategic research and innovation area which will be the most important achievement in the short term. Effects in the longer term is an increased awareness and public understanding of the importance of the constituent technologies - to ´visualize the enablers´.
Approach and implementation
The work was conducted in close cooperation with the groups reponsible for the other six constituent agenda projects. Key activities of information gathering is a web inquiry and interviews with industry participants as well as processing of economic data concerning the companies in the industry and a workshop. Lots of new contacts across various disciplines have been established in the work of the group, which byitself should be considered an important result.
