Important results from the project
The project contributed to important technical, commercial and strategic results. Vimotek verified key technology building blocks, delivered its first paid commercial assignment related to digital twins, strengthened customer and partner dialogues, and deepened its position in European space and innovation consortia. The project also clarified the next steps for customer validation, capital and company development.
Expected long term effects
In the longer term, the project is expected to contribute to safer and more predictable satellite interactions through Vimotek’s work with mission-specific digital twins and onboard sensing/perception. The results strengthen the company’s ability to build customer relationships, attract partners and capital, and contribute to European space capability and more resilient space infrastructure.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out through technical verification, customer dialogues, commercial validation, consortium work and funding activities. The work evolved step by step based on lessons learned during the phase and helped create a clearer link between technology development, customer needs, commercial packaging and the company’s next development step.
