Important results from the project

At the end of the project, the goal of developing an AI-driven platform has been fulfilled: 265 companies have received legal guidance, auto generated legal documents and contract management. Implementation of latest text analysis technologies has enabled a new classification system for smarter handling of legal documents. The collaboration with RISE has ensured all technical prerequisites in place for future implementation of machine learning, e.g., predicting legal needs based on company profile / behaviour and auto-detecting outdated legal documents based on law changes.

Expected long term effects

The outcome of the project has been very successful. With RISE, we have developed a comprehensive AI-driven platform for legal support. Based on latest technologies in “Natural Language Processing”, we have developed a new classification system for a smarter and more efficient handling of large volumes of legal documents. We have also ensured all technical requirements are in place for future application of machine learning. When sufficient training data has been collected, the platform will be able to predict legal needs and identify outdated legal documents based on law changes.

Approach and implementation

PocketLaw´s tech team and RISE AI-team have worked very closely in a fruitful collaboration throughout the project. The first part aimed at implementing the right technical prerequisites for successful application of machine learning. RISE guided PocketLaw´s team in developing their own programming language for indexable documents, as well as how to collect, save and structure training data correctly. During the second part, RISE has developed cutting edge AI algorithms that enable a new, smarter automated classification system for legal documents.
