Project duration July 2020 - October 2020
Status Completed

Important results from the project

The aim and objective of the project was to transfer competence in the form of adhesive bonding of vehicle glass together with requirements and evaluation methods. But also, to evaluate a defined plasma treatment method relevant to replace the current pretreatment method of light vehicle polymer screens and through it achieve adequate adhesion. The project has worked with both competence transfer and technical experiments. The results are promising and relevant for continued work.

Expected long term effects

A compilation of relevant requirements and evaluation methods has been made as well as plasma treatment, printing and technical evaluation. The experiments that have been done so far are promising and the tests performed show the potential to for further evaluation of the concept.

Approach and implementation

The project has been divided into a theoretical study of requirements and evaluation methods followed by a practical plasma treatment and printing, technical evaluation of obtained results and evaluation against the evaluated requirements. The results are compiled in a technical report

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
