Planning grant for international proposal 2026 |
Purpose and goal
The planning project aims to make the INDIPOL proposal methodologically robust, empirically feasible, and well aligned with Horizon Europe-utlysningens eligibility requirements. The project will identify which policy cases can be credibly evaluated, determine appropriate analytical and modeling methods, secure access to relevant corporate data, integrate SSH perspectives as a structural part of the design, and complete the consortium with the competencies required for implementation.
Expected effects and result
The project delivers a competitive Horizon Europe-ansökan on causal evaluation of energy efficiency policies for non-ETS manufacturing industries. Immediate results are a selection of feasible policy cases, a mapping of data sources in five countries, an analytical framework linking ex post evaluation to ex ante modeling, and a strengthened international consortium with partners in Sweden, Italy, Poland, Canada, and Germany.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is implemented in seven work packages over ten months: mapping the policy landscape, evaluability assessment and case selection, method selection and evaluation architecture, data mapping, SSH integration, consortium development, and final writing and submission. A physical partner meeting is planned to anchor the common methodological focus.
